Candleglow Sheer Perfecting Powder ,by Laura Mercier,is my favorite! I haven't tried the Hourglass brand, however on screen, it looks very similar!

So far I just can’t let myself buy the new La Mer since the company simply ignored its very loyal customers! The original was fantastic, more product, better price. I feel like we were thrown under the bus. I think La Mer needs to listen, please bring back the old but fantastic

I recently started using the Sisley Blur Expert powder and really like it (especially under the Sisley Phyto-Teint Ultra Eclat foundation) ! I just got the Chantecaille Perfect Blur Finishing Powder, however, I haven’t had a chance to try it yet. Which one do you prefer? Like you, I have dry, mature skin…..
Great video Abby. I have dry skin, my whole life, even while younger, lol. The only powder I own, is the Charlotte Tilbury airbrushed. I’m on my 4th one now, & hit pan. So, I am definitely going to look into the Hourglass Veil loose powder, the Mac skin finish, as I think this will suit me. Also, the 3 Hourglass illuminating powders look intriguing. I don’t like powders that are too light, as I am a medium skintone. Maybe the Chantecaille, if it’s not too white based.

I loved how you showed us the powders close up and gave us the details of each. I want to buy all the ones that I don't have! But I need to get MAC and Chanel. Charlotte Tilburys powder is something magical, isn't it! Hourglass veil is perfect as well. I love to buff with Guerlain meteorites , Hourglass veil and YSL just put out a pressed powder that I am liking lots. I need to go back and see if you have done this video with bronzers. If not, that would be wonderful to see from you. Foundations and bronzers are my …addiction?- No…love!

I have a question about the Chantecaille Eclat Doux pressed powder- is it more luminous than the blurring hummingbird powder? I didn’t care for that so much because it was so matte and not translucent enough for my skin. So with Neiman Marcus’s sale, I’m looking into either getting the Chantecaille Eclat Doux or possibly the Sisley! Both are on sale at quite a savings!

I have not been much of a powder person either. I occasionally used the Guerlain Meteorites but my stash has increased dramatically over the past year. You are one of the ones to blame lol. Thanks for showing me that powders don't need to look "powdery"
